Antonio holds a Doctorate in Data Protection and is an Academic at the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation. He has practiced as a Lawyer since 1991, is specialised in commercial practices and new technologies, has advised on projects relating to privacy and data protection, as well as matters involving e-commerce and corporate compliance in private organisations, federations, and professional groups in various sectors including health, industrial, electric, telecommunications, and metal in particular.
He is the Founder of the Consumer Data Protection Association (CONSUDATO), and has acted as its President since 2005. He is also an APEP-certified Official in Data Protection.
With extensive teaching and research experience in communications and new technologies law, Antonio is an Associate Professor and Thesis Director for the Data Protection Master's Programme at the Universidad Internacional de la Rioja (UNIR), which follows his work at the Complutense University of Madrid and the Madrid Bar Association. He is also responsible for international development at the Escuela Europea de Negocios.
He is the author of numerous legal pieces and articles on e-commerce and Data Protection Law (GDPR).
